The Computer Assisted Reporting assignment is based on the AUC Fact Book. The pitch for this article focuses on graduation facts in The American University in Cairo (AUC). Despite that AUC offers many interesting and crucial majors that are rarely available in the other private high education institutions, the graduation percentage from such majors is very low. That is because the job opportunities for these majors graduates are very few in Egypt, so as many students prefer other majors that have more opportunities in the job market. Hence, that may have consequences on the long run on the Egyptian expertise in such fields. A research was conducted on the patterns of choosing majors in Egypt, the AUC students' achievements in research and different studies, the job opportunities available for different majors, and if the gender plays a role in choosing the nature of the future career. Also, a student majoring in Egyptology, and the dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences have been interviewed to know more specific details on the topic.
